To get the most out of your experience with 2XL, make sure to follow these best practices.
2XL LOVES context!
Questions such as "Tell me a joke" are likely not yielding good results. Instead give context, such as "Tell me a Joke about ". This is true with all interactions. The more context the better the results. It can't read your mind
Noisy Environment?
In noisy environments use the Push-to-Talk or Toggle-to-Talk. This is a feature to make 2XL work in these kind of environments. Silence detection works very well in quiet environments.
Push to Talk
When using the Push-to-Talk method, remember to keep the button pressed until you are done speaking. (Think HAM Radio)
Setting up profiles
When setting up profiles make sure to not set the age of the profile too young. E.g keep it around 12-13 years which will give you a solid experience. If the age it too young the moderation will kick in more and likely diminish the demo experience.
Speak Clearly
Speak as clear as you can avoid mumbling and trailing off towards end of sentences.
Silence Detection
Remember to press the play button to enable silence detection. And press it again to disable it.
Disable Filler Talk and Sounds
Remember, if the speed of the replies are quick enough, or if you just prefer a quiter experience, you have the option to disable the "filler talk"
and the "filler" sound. This can make the demo a little more natural.
